Up and away!

500. I've been agonizing about this entry for the last 2 weeks, but not as much as today. I bought two red balloons for this shoot, but one of them popped before I even got to take any photos. Sad. Planning a shot for a milestone entry is so much work. You've got to think of what you want to capture. Then prepare for the shot- acquire necessary props, location, etc. Then you execute. If the execution isn't what you hoped for you move on to post processing.

Being creative is a lot of work. Even with all the effort I input, sometimes I'm not totally happy with what I get. (Today is one of those cases.) I've spent so much time on this image, I'm missing out on some activities with friends.

Anyway, 2013 for me on Blipfoto is shaping up great! I'm uploading photos everyday and I'm thankful I have an outlet where I can share some of my work.
