Bollywood on Our Street!

Lights, Camera, Action!!!!

This morning GK and I were off to the Consulate for yet another piece of paper...and as we headed to the parking bay at the front of the building, were confronted with this scene, which had taken over our local grocery store!

"No milk today...it wasn't always so...!!"

We were thwarted in our attempt to replenish supplies and get Magnum ice creams because this film crew were making an advert for Bavarian Beer!!! (Non alcoholic you understand!)

The 'Roadies,' in my pic, are all huddled in a group on the left, the Director and important people are inside, and sitting on the chair waiting for the action is the makeup and wardrobe lady just waiting for her cue!

Some tents had been erected round the side of the building, on the right hand side, which served as the 'stars dressing rooms' and the film crew's dining area!

Four parking bays had been comandeered for the 'trucks which contained the 'innards' of the grocery store, and were powered by a generator so all the provisions stayed 'cool' while they filmed! (They needed the space inside the store for 2 large Bavarian Beer cabinets!)

Our neighbour said they had come at 3am in the morning to start all the preparations and they would be filming all through tomorrow as well. He should know....they're right outside his bedroom window!!!!

The Stars of the show?

Just had to be the 2 young Arab lads in Dish Dashes' who kept doing a repeat performance of dashing in and dishing out!!!!!!

Such fame......and all on our Street!!!!!!
