Glencoe

We had a stunning drive south from Sutherland to Edinburgh via Loch Ness and Glencoe. Although the weather was fierce the mountains dazzled and the snow acted as a highlight to their finery.

Glencoe always inspires awe. Whether seen in sunshine or under cloud cover or with a dusting of snow, it seems to me to provide a context to human life: we are small, the earth is great.
