Hampton Court Bridge, Evening Sun

After an afternoon in Kingston there were some signs of evening sunshine so I walked along the side of the Thames at East Molesey towards Hampton Court.

The river is flowing fast and has been overflowing the banks with the terrace of the Brasserie on the opposite bank underwater. Just to the left of this shot is a half submerged pleasure cruiser.

This burst of sunshine lasted for about thirty seconds before the sun disappeared behind the gathering clouds.
