Bell's Bridge, Squinty Bridge and Finnieston Crane

I had to take my wife to the airport at 6am this morning. So I headed over to Pacific Quay to capture the sunrise over the Clyde. It was cold but well worth it.

This is a view from the Millenium Bridge looking up the River Clyde towards Bell's Bridge and the Squinty Bridge, with the famous Finnieston Crane on the north bank. You can see another view on my Blipfolio.

The Millenium Bridge was built by the Glasgow Science Centre to further improve links between the north bank and the GSC.

Bell's Bridge was constructed in 1988 to link the Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre with the Glasgow Garden Festival site.

The Clyde Arc (Squinty Bridge) was completed in 2006 and is unusual in that it crosses the river on a significantly skewed alignment which was dictated by the availability of suitable landing points on the south side.
