Waterfall
This has been one of our favourite walks for the past eighteen years. Park at the chapel, down through the woods and along the stream, stopping to look at what remains of the old sculpture trail and the ruined cottage, examining plants and fungi. Then we get to the waterfall, which is endlessly compelling, then a short step past the house and boatyard to the beach where we stop and play, then return via a track and then the road. Today was the first time for years that all four of us (five including Casey) walked it together, and when we got to the beach Huw and Gwyn discovered they were certainly not too old to enjoy damming the stream. All in all a delightful walk; but the star attraction is always the waterfall.
Two more takes on the same outing here and here.
