Turning Over a New L-Eve

Leaf... Leaves... Leave... L-Eve... Geddit? I'm gonna get so much shit for this Blip title, but fuck it... Haters gon' hate.

This is Eve and she is PhotoSoc's new Social Sec, say 'Hi!' Andy was a great social sec and he's still gonna be around as secretary, but it's time to start over and turn over a new leaf.

University students are tainted as being lazy sods who do absolutely nothing all day but just hang around talking. I don't think I live a normal uni life by any stretch of the imagination because days that like are so few and far between. Today was one of them, though and damn I wish there were more like it. Waking up late and then lazing around in bed until even later. Eventually Eve and I walked in to town to get some shopping done.

I love learning little random things, and Eve was doing some food shopping in a couple of the Polish stores in Leam. I now know 3 bits of Polish diction and can say 'little cow', too. Lots of Polish food was sampled. I didn't miss living in Leamington at all, in the first term, and even the first few weeks of this term, but it's finally dawned that random impromptu meetings with friends is so much harder when you're a 35 minute bus ride away. Plus now I can't just nip down the Polish store and grab some food. Looks like I'll be making many more trips to Leam, for 2 good reasons.

Swinging via Spar on the way back to Eve's we picked up the ingredients to cook lunch (Chicken pesto salad with celery and beetroot) which was insanely fresh. It wasn't heavy and would probably cure a hangover fairly well. I'm definitely gonna give it a go.

Waiting in the cold for the bus, getting back to campus and then a cheeky breaking rehearsal in the evening to round everything off for our performance tomorrow! It's been a while since I've performed with Breakdance so I'm really looking forward to it. Plus the fact that it's two performances in one day, and we get to hang out back stage with all the other dance societies on campus, it's a recipe for a decent day out.
