A millionth of a second after he had flown to the next branch, so I got him before take off. Another great day spent in his company. He chased dunnocks, then came back to perch next to me & to sing, then he chased sparrows, but then returned to my side again, he did this same thing, to & fro, for the best part of an hour, he was coming back to tell me all about it, as he warbled, clicked & rattled in my direction, while preening himself. But every time, on his return, he perched closer to me, until I could literally touch him if I wanted to, but I didn't, he's a wild bird & I respect that fact :) feathery xxx's
