Street level 1 - Sam
I've given myself a project - the first I've attempted. I won't blip for it every time, but hopefully quite often. It is something new for me.
I guess I'm finding it's easy, the second year of blipping, to slip into repeating what was done in the first - and that much as I love photographing snowdrops and trees they're all the better for a change. So this project is called 'Street Level' and is literally that - the things that happen right down on the pavement.
Today I met Darren, who very kindly let me photograph Sam here. Sam is a gentle dog, lovingly snuggled up in his canine coat and this colourful crocheted blanket. He's 11 years old and let me scratch him behind the ears. Darren plays the digeridoo. I asked him how he learned and he said just through practise. I admired that. He played it well. He also let me take some shots of the 3 of them - him, Sam and the digeridoo - but I wasn't entirely sure I'd organised the elements as I should have. This, on the other hand, delights me, thanks to Sam's wonderfully compelling brown eye!
Happy blipping Saturday..
