Absent Friends

The house lights go down,
The drama begins to play.
Suspend disbelief,
Until the lime light turns dim,
And the mundane world returns.

Back blipping. Went to stay with my friend DeeS and watch her perform at the Herne Bay Little Thatre in a production of Absent Friends by Alan Ayckbourn. It was a really good production with excellent performances, not least by Dee in her fetching blue crimplene frock. Well done Dee - you were brilliant!.

Even better, as they were breaking up of the set I came away with a genuine plastic fibre optic lamp, with an orange base with flashing lights .... result!

It has been a lovely weekend spent in lovely company.
