What happens when you shoot a window?

This is my study of glass. It is the window of a Gun and Tackle shop. I can imagine the conversation between a customer wishing to buy a gun and the shop keeper:
Customer: Can I try it before I buy?
Shop Keeper: Of course! Would you mind going outside?
Customer: But what shall I shoot? I don't want to be run in by the local constabulary.
Shop Keeper: Well, have a go at my window, why don't you?
