Ready and Waiting

The crews of this vehicle's lives are very similar to those of WW2 spitfire pilots - on permanent standby to respond to events as they unfold on the ground and provide the critical fire support to the soldiers and marines engaged with the Taliban.

It was a privilege to command them during this six month deployment.
