Mentor
A happy reunion with our venerable teacher today at his residence, after a lapse of about three years. He's always ready to show us the light at the end of the tunnel in almost all walks of life. Oja Indubushan, a social scientist by profession, is an avid educationist and writer. He has written and published numerous books for the betterment of the human society as a whole. He has traveled far and wide around the globe and amassed amazing knowledge. The stimulating glint in his eyes and the enthusiasm he has for sharing his vast knowledge still burns deep down inside him.
Recently his work on political economy has just been released and provided us one complimentary copy each today.
Another work on philosophy, in series, is upcoming project for him - for which he has shown as the first volume in draft.
Really fortunate to have met him in the first place and we're sorry, of late, for the long lapse in reunion.
Since long, I've always dreamed of portraying him in his study table with the available ambient lights from the two windows and one ventilator. However, today, my assistant failed to slip in the camera in the bag (after he shot some passports in the studio) - moreover dusk is approaching as we reached his home. Saved the day by the secondary camera (which I always keep in reserve). The shot is taken with three flashes (two remotes).
Maybe one day, I may get the portrait I dreamed of.
