Down the line

By popular demand (well two of you asked for it), the spaniel and I extended our morning walk by a couple of miles to look for another Prime Meridian marker. This wooden marker is on a woodland path just off the evocatively named Deadmantree Hill. Its about 38 miles south of Greenwich. Like the one on Monday, it was erected to mark the start of the new millenium (yesterday's was to mark the coronation). The original was put there in 2000 but it was either stolen or damaged and so this is a replacement.
