finger licking good

The flies are here -- one of the sure signs of approaching summer! It's still a bit cold, though, and they are acting equally cool. This particular one, for instance, didn't mind me grabbing my camera, changing the lens and setting up the extension tubes while it sat on my finger and licked it.
