The Lamb Inn part 2

This is the building next to the one I blipped yesterday. As I was taking it a builder came out so I asked him about it. This used to be the pub belonging to the hotel but times got hard and the pub wasnt making any money so they sold off this bit. It has now been bought by a builder and is in the process of being converted into a fantastic family home. He's keeping all the original features such as the windows and door and there is even one of those lovely old painted advertisments on the side wall which he is going to have re-done. I was glad to hear that he is going to live in it himself rather than just doing it up to resell.

The bit you can see on the right is the old skittle hall.There is another skittle alley about 1/4 mile down the road. Thats something you dont see too often nowadays.

I shall be keeping an eye on it over the next few months.
