Past Meets Future 2

As we enjoy our visit with the grandgirls we are within a few kilometers (even fewer miles) of this this ominous (for me) meeting of the past and the future.

This is a challenge and a bit of a theme for me. ( Past meets Future 1) I've used more than my share (far more in a global context) of energy in my day but would now likely argue that tough conservation measures (carbon tax?) are needed to avoid the cataclysmic threats of climate change and nuclear waste management that face the next generations.

I'm afraid we do "get too soon old and too late smart" as the Dutch proverb says :-(
