A yarntastic day!

I had a lovely day with good friends today. We were helping Karen (A Life in the day at OaS) at the Edinburgh Yarn Festival. The picture shows people having a practice on some of the lovely Ashford wheels and looms Karen took with her today, ably assisted here by Rosamund (Views of my World), Ange (Knit1Girl1) and Innes.

This is the first time this event has been held and it seems to have been a rip roaring success! It was certainly exceptionally busy. There were lots of great suppliers there and lots of like minded people. It was well organised and well set up the organisers must feel very proud...if very tired tonight.
