These are a few of my favourite things...
as Mary Poppins would say! Me with my bestest girls and bestest boys (minus 'the' boy - apparently the football is more important than my 30th and arrived later on).
Happy birthday to me! I was treated to breakfast in bed and opened my cards and present from the boy, lovely earrings and a reminder of my birthday trip to Rio.
Then the boy set to work on the birthday victoria sponge. A little disastrous but the thought was there and no candles as he somehow lost them between tesco and the front door. But I got balloons in the living room and a big bunch of tulips (my favourite) delivered to the door. I knew it was going to be a good day.
Next stop shops to get mums last minute birthday present for tomorrow, round claires to have my nails done leaving half an hour to get ready before meeting the family and a select few friends to have a late lunch and start the birthday celebrations. Drinks flowed and more friends arrived, then the pub crawl commenced.
Top moments in no particular order:
1) Finding out a friend got engaged last week, congrates Anna (not pictured)
2) Planking and stacking with me at the bottom (you can't beat a birthday pile on)
3) DJing with Lenny Kravitz
4) Acquiring a St Patricks day hat (a birthday tradition of mine)
5) All my lovely presents (roll on indoor skydiving!)
6) Looking like P Diddy with all my new bling!
I had a grand night and proved I am not too old to party although - Gemma P - I blame you for the bad head.
Back blipping of course as I was in no fit state to do it when I got in!
