The Park #1

I had hoped to capture some spring blooms today - a departure from the last couple of blips but, on reflection, I guess it was always going to be a tall order. At least it's stopped snowing and the centre of town is now clear of it but it's still very, very cold and not the sort of weather that I'd want to spend too long enduring.

Today's blip doesn't really come from a park at all but from Edinburgh's Botanic Gardens where I enjoyed a brisk but enjoyable lunchtime walk. The birds sounded very happy, although I didn't see any well enough to capture and the peace and tranquility was a delight. A beautiful environment to spend a little time away from it all.
