A Niche on a wet day

Another very wet day.  This morning I went to my art group in Oswestry and when I came out walked round to get a blip of Oswestry's new business, Niche Patisserie.

It is in the building of a 17th century Tudor pub called the Black Gate named after it's site which was the gate in the town walls. The walls no longer exist after all the fighting between English and Welsh.

The pub was turned into a luxury patisserie by pastry chef Adam Cleal, a former Bake Off Professionals semi finalist. I haven't been there yet but hear that it's products are delicious but expensive. It looked as if it was doing a good trade when I passed by.
