Simplicity

Today's AT theme is simplicity. Difficult to define, hard to photograph. As many ways of looking at it as there are lookers. 

I've gone for the material approach. A drip cloth, a dried out baby-wipe, which I must have used to mop up paint, and then layered onto some muslin to practice free-motion stitching. So far it hasn't found a purpose, other than to be today's blip.

I'm in a sombre mood, troubling news of three friends today. From one, the most afflicted, I received a lovely card she had made, and a hand-written letter. Just paper, ink and paint, but so precious.
