Laura and Eric with Helmets

Our niece Laura and her husband Eric are visiting from New York, and we took them to dinner at the Regalade in the 14th--a relatively short walk and trip on the T3 tram from our apartment. Excellent food, with good service and a very sociable atmosphere. It's our second visit there this month--this was the first (you might recognize the background).

This is a bit truncated; I wanted to include the motorcycle helmets above (at least 3 couples arrived with them), as well as the reflection of other guests behind me, and a slice at the bottom needed to be cropped. The small shelves at the upper left hold napkin rings.

Here are the four of us over three years ago. And this is Laura and Eric last year.

Edit: In the afternoon, we went to the Louvre, where our main objective was a large exhibition of German art from 1800 to 1939. It opened today.
