Daft #2 (previous)
Who's idea was it to put a "bird hide" here. It overlooks Munlochy Bay, on the Black Isle, and its only possible use is a shelter. That's one big field separating you from bird life down on the mudflats. Even with powerful binoculars or a telescope you'll have trouble making out any identifying features.
I see someone's had a digger out on the mudflats, cutting a new trench, and deepening existing bits. Presumably the farmer of the ploughed field. They could have grown rice down at the bottom of it last year.
Walked down to the sea wall at dusk. There were loads of Pink-footed Geese coming in to roost for the night. They must be making their way North now, for the breeding season.
