Eiffel tower at night

A city tour by bus this morning before a trip to Versailles in the afternoon.

A bitterly cold day, with a few flakes of snow whilst we wandered round the gardens at Versailles.

In the evening we went out to see the light display on the Eiffel Tower from the Trocadero. Several roads and a bridge were closed, so causing diversions. We learned later that there had been a hoax bomb scare in the Eiffel Tower and 1,400 people were evacuated.
