As usual I finished work at about 1:30 and repaired to an old haunt on Rose St. One of quite a few pubs on Rose St that hasn't changed really since I started to drink back in '73, somehow the lager tastes just as good as it did then which is probably why it's the only place I'll have a pint of said lager.

Half an hour, good beer, a packet of something and a read of a good book, nice way to mark yhe start of the weekend.
