Birdwatching

It was Paul's birthday so I took the afternoon off and we went to a local National Trust venue for a coffee in the sunshine. Mind you, we were the only ones outside making the most of the nice weather, the other few visitors were all sat indoors in the dark (and the warm...). We were joined outside by a couple of jackdaws and a robin (see extra) who looked at my Bakewell tart expectantly (and a bit menacingly!) - I gave in eventually and left them a few crumbs. A bit of a muddy walk down to the bird hide and around the lake and then it was time to head home, but nice to make the most of the sunshine while it lasted.
