Castle Hill

Charles and Kirsty came drove up this morning. We met them in the Boathouse and introduced them to Conor for the first time, although he was sleeping. We had a nice lunch then went for a walk up Castle Hill to the Roman Fort, then down the other side and back along the canal.

It's quite a long walk and I was sure I'd end up carrying Orla for the last bit, but with lots of encouragement and a bit of bribery she did very well and walked the whole way round without a carry. Anne carried in Conor in the Ergobaby sling and ended up feeding him at the fort.

Charles and Kirsty were staying at the Boathouse so they checked in at the end of the walk and came round later for dinner of homemade pizzas.
