Getting a Feel for Shrewsbury

I am in shropshire for the next 2 weeks, spending time with family and enjoying getting out and about.

Shrewsbury is the county town of Shropshire and has over 600 listed buildings.
Many of the medieval street names are still in use today including Dogpole, Bearsteps, Fish Street, and Gullet Passage . These street names reflect the various activities that were carried out..... Grope Lane was (I gather) an alley of ill repute!
