Gold

A gentle golden haze
Sparkles like a true dancer
Sharing love and light.

I needed a gold skirt for a forthcoming bellydance performance. I have a skirt of gold chiffon which is rather dull and a bit see through. A new skirt would be nice but expensive. Instead I bought some gold sparkly organza (what a lovely word organza is!), the plan being to create another layer on my gold skirt, which will catch the light as I move. It's such beautiful fabric I am reluctant to cut it, but I have enough for the skirt and a veil too at a fraction of the cost of a new skirt. Times are hard but dancing is essential to my well being.

Dancing to me is more than showing off and wiggling about, it's about sharing with others and trying to expressing myself and the music through movement ... oh, and did I mention the dressing up.....that's quite important too!
