Can This Be April?

In Bellingham, I'm afraid the answer is yes, and it's not unusual. We've even had snow in May. Full disclosure -- we are just outside the city limits, at an altitude of 650 feet/200 meters, and we have a micro-climate quite different from the downtown area.

This started without warning at around 9:30 AM, lasted a couple of hours, and the snow melted very quickly after it stopped falling.

I cancelled my trip to the Whatcom Skagit Model Railroad Club open house, and spent the day working on my tax return. The deadline is Monday -- I started early this year. There's another open house scheduled for May 11th.
