Towers and Chimneys, Aberdeen

The weather has been mixed today, with intermittent showers and strong sunshine with dramatic clouds. A long day, with a meeting after work.

I decided to have an easy blip,
so I drove to the top floor of Chapel Street Car Park
and took a number of shots from the roof.
I have discovered most of the car parks are free,
if you don't stay and they offer marvelous vantage points
with views across the city from their top decks.

I think buildings include from left to right;
Aberdeen University's new glass library,
Gilcomston church,
the Chimney at the Old Broadford Works,(awaiting conversion into an urban village), The Tower at the Old Woolmanhilll Hospital and
the old red brick Richards Mill (now luxury flats.)
No doubt someone will correct me if I have made a mistake.

A colour version for those who prefer.
