River Walk

I went to my local park to visit the ducks, but I did not get any decent images this time. There were several people tossing food, and all of the birds were running around trying to get some. It soon became obvious that I wasn’t going to succeed with duck photography, so I went for a walk along the river instead. The railroad bridge crossing the river was built by the Ford Motor Company in 1924. There is a hydroelectric gravity dam beneath the bridge that once powered large turbines to provide electricity for the Ford factory until it closed in 1950. The nearly century old bridge is still in use.
