Report writing

I've spent most of today editing a 70+ page report. I had hoped to finish it by this evening, but there is no hope of that now.

Tomorrow I will be in London for a full-day meeting - I'll be up at 05:00 to fly down, and back to Edinburgh by train at 21:30 - so I now have to admit defeat and get used to the idea that I will still be looking at screens such as this over the weekend :-(

In other news I have been invited to what looks like an interesting evening meeting on women in science, engineering, technology and mathematics at the Scottish Parliament on 29th May. I shouldn't complain: I really am very lucky to have such an interesting job.
