Trees (again)

Here are my trees*.

I haven't photographed them for a while but now it's spring their leaves are growing and they are beginning to resemble, once again, the pair of lovers with their heads bowed together, hair entwined.

I tried taking the shot earlier in the day but the grass is so green that it looked almost luminous in the sunshine, so I waited until dusk. Dan came outside the cottage with me to take the shot, scrambling up to sit on top of the wall as boys are wont to do. Afterwards, we went inside, made tea and popcorn and watched The Fantastic Four.

*Not actually my trees. But I bet no one loves them as much as me.
