The National Theatre

It was so cold today so we spent the afternoon in the warmth of the National Theatre looking at the Norman Parkinson exhibition which is held in the main foyer and is free....bonus! There were some fabulous images and my favourite is a picture he took of his wife on a landing strip in Nairobi in 1951 for Vogue called The Art of Travel...you can see it here in this link
I tried to get some good shots of his art for my 200th blip but in the end decided that I really liked this picture of the staircase which led up to where his exhibition was being held. The curves, lines and tones are what made it for me, I hope you like it too!
