Back to normality

Today was lovely with bright blue skies and snow capped hills. However it was also very cold with pavements difficult to walk on (despite gritting) and some side roads tricky.

We had planned to visit V&A today for lunch and a walk but decided to stay at home due to the icy conditions. I did venture out to hairdressers - the main roads were OK for walking on and thankfully traffic was light.

Instead I took down and put away all the Christmas decorations - as much as I love Christmas, I do like restoring a sense of normality once New Year has passed.

I also did some financial and general planning for the year ahead and finished the Mango Language Gaelic Course.  All in all a productive day.
