Racing Pigeon Revisited

We still have this lovie, he just simply refused to leave! We open the door of his 'house' every morning, he roams the area during the day and retuns home before dark, going into his 'safe haven' for the night! Since yesterday we noticed something very special going on here! He brought this lovely friend, left in the photo, home with him! She is still a bit shy, went into the cage today and browsed a bit inside and left again! Will she approve of the humble house he can offer her, will she move in eventually? We truly hope so!

Today was a horifically tragic day in the history of our small town! A mother, her 8 month old little son and her 14 year old daughter were killed in a head-on collision on the main road next to our local shopping mall. The same woman's other little boy, 4 years of age, is in the Unitas Hospital, Centurion, had to be airlifted. The woman driver of the other car is in hospital as well. The father/husband of the deceased was very far away, in Polokwane, I guess in connection with his work, and had to race back to be with his 4year old son in hospital. Our prayers accompany all involved!
