Day 1 - Alnwick

Barter Books is the most fascinating book shop that I have ever visited. It is housed in the former Alnwick Station and, not only has thousands of books, but also has cafes in the old waiting rooms, coal fires alongside which you can sit and browse the myriad of books and many old and quaint collections of the past - including a model railway circling the rooms. Wonderful!
