Stormy Weather

Another Wet Walk and we get back to Scilla's house with two damp greyhounds and although we were aware of the wind in the forest we were surprised by how stormy in was out on the Solway. Not long after this image was taken a thunderstorm (complete with forked lightning) trundled along the coast, luckily it did not pass overhead , but was a bit dramatic to say the least.
We left our nice weekend home to make our way back up to Edinburgh driving through the usual mixture of sunshine and heavy rain, unusually for we broke our journey at a farm shop in Beeswing and bought some comestibles that we cannot get up in the Big City.
Another lovely weekend and although the weather was not what it should have been it never keep us in doors and everything else was just as it has been for all the years we've been going down there
