Denys Baptiste

I have a good evening so went down to Chelsea to hear my friend Clement's band Wild Card at the 606 Club. 

I've heard Denys before and love his playing. Unfortunately 'chemo brain' prevented me from retrieving the words 'tenor' and 'saxophone', so I had to flannel a bit.

It was a really nice thing to do on a Monday night and I wish I could have stayed longer. More pictures here.
