Do you believe in ghosts?

Lovely, sunny day in the rental cottage area again. We slept in the villa, downstairs in a room for 4 persons. Woke up early as sun was high and birds were singing... We had a nice trip fishing, good food and a familysauna too. Burned my shoulders a bit. Warm day, +26c even at 10pm as sun was setting.

The villa of the rental cottage area is an old wooden big house, which is build in 1901 by the trader Tirkkonen family. There is upstairs 5 bedrooms and downstairs there is 2 kitchens and 2 bedrooms and a livingroom. I do not know any further details of the history if the Tirkkonen family, but the villa sure has some secret in it. I have started to believe that there really lives an old and friendly ghost or a spirit, who is not very pleased as we come there back always in spring time...

The locked doors are opened or closed strangely as today happened again... Sometimes you can hear someone walking upstairs even if the house is total empty. Or you can hear someone walk in the same room you are sleeping in as I did last summer. You sometimes can not open the windows, but as you try a while later, there is no problems with them. Sometimes curtains are closed even if the whole room is empty and locked.

Ok, I may be mad, but every year - no matter who is attendant of the area - the ghost makes some announces of herself. The former attendants have all discovered odd happenings. Even one older man, an attendant, had to admit there is something odd happening in the villa. This year the attendant is a young woman, who has had only few odd happenings in the area, mostly in the villa only - I think that if there is a ghost, it likes her, maybe...
