Pretty in B&W

Ah, but the Hugo & his monochrome colouring makes for a good B&W subject. He's also good for 'portrait' shots because he's laidback and doesn't move too fast, unlike his energetic litter brother.

This is one of the first shots taken with my brand new, spur-of-the-moment purchase, lens. It's a macro one, but I was swayed to buy it by reviews that said it was generally brilliant and great for portrait shots. So far, I am loving it!

Aside from photography, it's been a productive day. Lots of script-work done in preparation for a Book at Bedtime I'm recording tomorrow and Wednesday.
