Street legal?

Tried to get an inconspicuous shot of this car but my iPhone capture is slow and babe was pulling at the leash so it's kind of a crappy one.

It seems that you can drive almost anything in California as long as it doesn't "smog". Cars over 3 years have to have a smog check every other year. As long as your car is not adding to the smog (which thankfully isn't as bad here as in LA) you can drive around with no brakes, headlights or panels (it seems).

Wouldn't like to be the unlucky pedestrian who gets hit by this death trap
