Phase One

While I wandered across the country with my parents and sister, Mr. Contraptioneer was busy building the first phase of our front porch! Phase two will involve a ramp that extends down to paving stones....which might be phase three...or the other way around...only he knows for sure :-)

Anticipating coming home to see his handiwork reminded me of the year I went to Church Camp and returned home to a brand new bed. It was the most exciting feeling to have something special done while away. This has added such warmth to our egress. I'm sorry, Mr. Contraptioneer, but I simply must tell; several times since I've been back home, he has gone to the door, opened it and said, "It's still there..." Yep, it sure is, and it's lovely!
