Feet up

A quiet day. We lazed around our bungalow complex until the mood took us to go up the road to what we think of as 'the German bar', which is beside the local supermarket. To our (and their) surprise who were sitting there but our friends from home we'd bumped into a few days ago. We joined them for chat and sangria for a while until they left to watch the Ireland-Scotland match. We stopped off for a fabulous club sandwich at Gold hotel, grabbed a siesta, indulged ourselves with super omelettes courtesy of chef Carl and then put our feet  for the rest of the night.

We checked our phones for progress in the rugby match, of course, and raised a 'well done' glass to Ireland's success.
