Cherries and Herries
While I was setting up this shot I couldn't get Francie and Josie out of my head. Those of you from around these parts may appreciate what is about to follow, for those of you who don't know what I'm rambling about I apologise:
Francie (setting the scene): This song tells the immoral story of a young girl and a young boy who went to Bonklin for a picnic. They were sitting on the grass there and they had some lovely fresh cherries. The lassie was getting chowed intae a cherry when inadvertantly it was ejaculated from her gob and it landed on her lap.
Song: (to tune of I Gave My Love a Cherry)
My love she was a herry
Her name was Joan
I gave my love a cherry
complete with stone
My love she drapped her cherry
upon her dress
A cherry on a herry
makes such a mess
Do cherry stains come oot?
She cried in fear
Do cherry stains come oot?
Oh tell me dear.
I hope the stains come oot
He answered fine
I hope the stains come oot
Coz I've swallowed mine!
Maybe you have to hear it to appreciate it!
