Wind blown
Continuing my Friday exploration of sites of nature in my locality, today I discovered Foxlease Meadows near Fleet in Hampshire. This 60 hectare site is a mosaic of meadows with a range of wet grassland, fen, acid grassland, heathland mire and woodland habitats throughout.
Treading carefully over boggy land, my eye was drawn to areas of white flowers. On closer examination, they turned out to be fluffy white seedheads of reeds. They were also almost impossible to shoot due to the windy conditions - so instead I just aimed for a dhot showing the movement.
