A Quiet Green Space.

I just thought I take this image of Charlotte Square, probably at its best because in a week or so this peaceful, pastoral view will disappear under canvas and walkboards as the annual Edinburgh Book Festival rolls around on its annual visitation.

The Festival celebrates its 30th year this year and I'm reasonably confident that I have visited it on every occurrence, sometimes going to in to more than ten events in 2 weeks.
Expect a blip or two from here when it's on.
