My garden is full of baby birds, this is a young blackbird. I wish I could protect them from predation & from bad weather, but I can't. Once their parents have stopped feeding them, they chase them away, sometimes try & kill them if they try & take their territory. As beautiful as this bird looks, it's future is uncertain. Some are obviously extremely lucky & others meet their peril & I can do no more.
